Why investment, not a price list

Every session is quoted individually — timing, location, number of images, and deliverables all shape the investment, so a headshot session and a full wedding day are never priced the same. Rather than boxing you into a rigid package, I'd rather understand what you actually need first.

Every session is quoted individually — timing, location, and deliverables all shape it. The form gives you a starting-at range based on your answers; your consultation is where we fine-tune it into a real number.

1. Do you travel for destination shoots?

Absolutely. Travel within 30 miles of central Phoenix is included. For locations beyond that radius, I’ll add mileage or provide a custom travel quote based on the destination. I’m also available for sessions and events throughout Arizona, across the U.S., and internationally—tell me where your vision takes us, and we’ll build the logistics into your proposal.

2. Do you help with planning our session?

Yes. We start with a conversation about what you’re creating, who the images are for, and how you want them to feel. I’ll help with location, wardrobe, timing, posing, and creative direction, so you never have to arrive knowing exactly what to do. The goal is a session that feels comfortable, intentional, and unmistakably yours.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

A 50% non-refundable retainer secures your date, with the remaining balance due according to your agreement. If you need to reschedule, reach out as soon as possible. With sufficient notice, the retainer may be transferred to a new date; late cancellations or no-shows may require a new retainer. If weather or an emergency makes the session unsafe or impossible, we’ll work together to choose a new date.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes. Your collection includes a clearly stated number of professionally edited, high-resolution digital images delivered through an online gallery. When proofs are provided, selections are due within two weeks; the editing and delivery timeline begins after I receive your choices. Prints, wall art, and albums can be added when you want something made to live beyond the screen.

5. Is hair and makeup included?

Hair and makeup are not included unless they’re listed in your proposal. I can recommend or coordinate trusted artists, and any artist or studio costs are added based on your needs.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely. Send inspiration before the session and tell me which poses or shots matter most. I’ll use them as direction while adapting the lighting, location, and posing so the final images still feel natural and true to you.

7. Can I use the images for my business or advertising?

Personal sessions include personal-use rights. Branding, product, and commercial use depend on the license and scope in your agreement. Tell me how the images will be used before the session so your proposal covers the right deliverables and usage.

8. When will I receive the final photos?

Proofs are shown or delivered first, and your selections are due within two weeks. Editing begins after I receive your choices. Your agreement or proposal will state the final delivery timeframe for your session.
